Georgia was selected by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) as a host site for one of its Centers of Excellence modules. The COE concept is designed to strengthen corporate supplier diversity processes and help minority businesses compete. Each module consists of a team of corporate mentors and a group of MBEs who form a cohort for 18 to 24 months, facilitated by the local affiliate Council. The focus is on the implementation of NMSDC best practices for small business development.
Program Benefits
Targeted coaching and mentoring tailored to the members of the cohort
Exposure to industry and NMSDC best practices
Networking and relationship building opportunities for MBE participants
Access to NMSDC resources and local affiliate leadership
Corporate engagement and support for MBE development
