The GMSDC Academy is the broad-based umbrella under which the training and learning opportunities are housed at the GEF. While there have been many programs, events and initiatives over the years, recent programming included a Lunch N Learn series hosted by the MBEIC, the Executive Breakfast Series featuring a C-level thought leader discussing leadership, First Fridays breakfast meetings designed to allow stakeholders to meet the staff, and various other sessions targeting MBE success. Many of these activities have been suspended or migrated to virtual platforms during the pandemic but will resume once it is safe for attendees to gather in person.
